Scope and Applicability
This protocol describes the procedure for monitoring malnutrition-induced accumulation of reactive oxygen species (ROS) in the adult Drosophila intestine using the CellROX imaging method. The assay enables visualization and quantification of ROS elevation under nutrient-deficient conditions and provides a standardized framework for assessing oxidative stress responses in intestinal tissues.
